Lisa Johnson

Counsellor / Somatic Sex Educator

Lisa works as a counsellor and somatic sex educator, supporting women to understand and inhabit their bodies, pleasure and sexuality across changing life stages. Her practice is grounded, shame-free and paced with care, holding midlife sexuality as a place of tenderness, curiosity and renewed relationship rather than something to fix or overcome.

Lisa is a counsellor and Somatic Sex Educator (a modality that blends somatic awareness with the science of human sexuality) who supports women to better understand and feel more confident in their bodies, pleasure and sexuality and the changes that unfold across a lifetime.
Lisa has a particular interest in midlife sexuality and the often tender experiences of feeling broken, lost, confused, in pain or discomfort, navigating changes in libido, feeling numb, or simply wanting something more than they are currently experiencing. Many women move through these experiences and seasons alone, unsure how to talk about their bodies, shifting desire, intimacy or pleasure. Lisa offers a grounded, non-judgemental and shame-free space to explore these common experiences safely and at your own pace.
Her sessions provide a confidential environment to reconnect with the body, increase pleasure capacity, build communication skills and gently rediscover what feels good. She brings practical tools, warmth and clarity, always centring consent, autonomy and each person’s personal pace.
Outside of her professional work, Lisa is a mother who is experiencing the heat of peri menopausal while continuing her journey as a pleasure-seeker. She is an enthusiastic kitchen dancer and unapologetically uncoordinated pole-fitness student — living proof that curiosity, humour and trying new things matter more than getting them perfectly right. She believes everyone deserves to feel confident, informed and joyfully at home in their body, no matter their age or stage of life.
