Sara-Jane Cleland is a Dancing Freedom Facilitator, Naturopath, Herbalist & Massage Therapist who lives on Gundungurra land in the Southern Highlands, NSW. Her journey as a holistic practitioner began over 25 years ago as a Yoga teacher and evolved into Bodywork, Naturopathy and Conscious Dance.
In 2016, she discovered 5 rhythms dance on retreat with Gina Chick and began attending classes and workshops. At the end of 2018 she journeyed to Byron Bay for intensive training in Dancing Freedom.
Since 2019, she has offered monthly Dancing Freedom events bringing this powerful practice to her local community. In 2021, she created the 5 week Women's Embodied Dance Journey which combines meditation, a women's sharing circle and dancing freedom.
Sara-Jane supports well-known conscious dance teachers on dance retreats, space-holding, offering yoga and creating sacred altars. She is a guest teacher at conscious dance classes in Sydney and collaborates to offer Heart Medicine events - Cacao ceremony, Dancing Freedom and Somatic Breathwork in Manly.
Her passion is connection, connection to the healing power of nature and the body, connection in community, co-creating and supporting each other, connection to oneself, your whole loving being, worthy of self-love and creative expression.
